Eco-Friendly Painting Options

It used to be that there were only a handful of options when it came to eco-friendly painting. Now there are more brands out there than ever giving customers a greener option when choosing paint colors. My favorite though, would have to be Benjamin Moore's Natura® Interior Paint.

Natura exceeds more industry standards for environmental safety than other leading zero VOC paints due to our unique waterborne colorant system that keeps it at zero VOC levels even after the paint is tinted to a specific color. Natura's quick drying, virtually odorless formula allows you to use your room the same day it's painted.
Natura carries the Green Promise® designation, Benjamin Moore's assurance that its environmentally friendly coatings meet and exceed the strictest industry standards, while also delivering the premium levels of performance you expect from Benjamin Moore.
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are carbon-containing chemical compounds that readily evaporate into the atmosphere. Common examples of things that emit VOCs into the atmosphere include gasoline, mineral spirits, alcohol, nail polish, and paint. You can choose from hundreds of Benjamin Moore colors, as well as 3 different finishes.

You can even shop online now for paint, primers, samples, and any other painting supply you may need. In addition to their online store, they have a great blog for painting tips & some inspiration to help fill your green home with lots of color.
